, Pilates teacher for Lakewood Winter Club in Tacoma , owner of Pilates Powerhouse NW in Seattle and presenter at ISI & PSA conventions, Pilates on Ice takes you from a slow, solid beginning to a vigorous real-time intermediate Pilates mat workout.
Rebecca Leone is trained in the classical method of Pilates. Her teacher training program was comprehensive and her Master Teacher was Romana Kryzanowska. Rebecca has been training Lakewood Winter Club skaters since March 2002, has presented at the 2003 ISI Conference in Las Vegas, a September 2002 PSA NW Seminar, and at the May 2004 San Diego ISI/PSA Conference. Rebecca is a continuing education provider for Pilates Method Alliance, the Association for Pilates Professionals. |
Instruction Mat:
Rebecca works one-on-one with skater Melissa Laub, teaching over 30 exercises from scratch and assuming no prior Pilates experience. Practicing Instructional Mat will help you learn each exercise, you'll build your understanding of the principles of Pilates as they relate to skating and, most importantly, you'll build your Powerhouse strength.
