For starters, it's all live action as Snow White takes to the ice in the person of 1960 Olympic figure skating champion, Carol Heiss. Then, standing in for the Seven Dwarfs, are those slap-happy, off-the-wall comic greats, the Three Stooges. It seems the original dwarfs are off prospecting in King Solomon's Mines. But, not to fret. Though this timeless fable has been streamlined, the enchanting magic of Snow White is all here. Spread out across a colorful panorama of castles and forests, it has been delightfully directed by veteran Walter Lang.
